The only short contention raised by the learned Counsel for the petitioner is that the learned District Judge while remanding the matter to the Village Panchayat, has not fixed any time period for disposal of the show cause notice. It is pointed out that the learned District Judge has remanded the matter on 12.04.2018 and till today, the Village Panchayat has not taken any further action on the show cause notice. He, therefore, submits that the Village Panchayat may be directed to decide the show cause in a time bound manner.

2. The respondent no.2-Village Panchayat is served, however, none appears.

3. On hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for the third respondent, the petition is disposed off with a direction to the second respondent to decide the show cause notice within a period of three months from the receipt hereof.
