Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2. The applicants are in possession of the property since long. By the impugned decree eviction proceedings have been directed to be instituted against the applicants.

3. By order passed today, the appeal is admitted. The applicants need to be protected during the hearing of the appeal. Accordingly, there shall be interim relief in terms of prayer clause (a) of the Civil Application.

4. At this stage, the learned Counsel for the respondents states that applicants should be placed under restraint not to create any third party interest in the suit property. This request is reasonable. Accordingly, the applicants shall maintain status quo in respect of the property.

5. Application is accordingly disposed of.
