This is an application for suspension of sentence awarded to the applicant by the Sessions Court for the offence punishable under Section 307 of IPC for which she is sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for one year and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/-. It is submitted that during the pendency of the Sessions Case, the applicant was on bail and after conviction she has deposited the fine amount before the trial Court. It is also submitted that the applicant has good case on merits.

2. Learned Public Prosecutor has no objection in suspending the sentence pending the hearing of the appeal.

3. Hence, pending the hearing of the appeal, execution of the

CRMA/38/2018 substantive sentence shall stand suspended on applicant furnishing a fresh bail bond in sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety in the like amount. The applicant shall attend the hearing as and when directed. Bail before the Sessions Court.
