Shri D'Souza, learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1 Panchayat submits that the demolition of the offending structure is scheduled on 17.07.2024. Shri Salkar, learned Government Advocate has placed on record the order dated 05.07.2024 issued by the Deputy Collector & In-charge Demolition Squad, Sub Division, Margao-Goa. The demolition is in consequence of the said order. The Deputy Collector in the order dated 05.07.2024 has mentioned that the Block Development Officer, Mormugao 10th July 2024

8-CP-17-2024 IN WP-632-2021(F).DOC Block Vasco da Gama shall report compliance after completion of the demolition process within 48 hours.

We are satisfied that appropriate action has been taken and even the demolition has now been scheduled. In this view of the matter, nothing survives for consideration in the present Petition. The Petition is disposed of. 3.
