Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

One of the grievances in the present Petition is to direct the Respondents to fix a date for conduct of the postponed elections and the second was to investigate into the incident of disruption of the elections, scheduled for 27 January 2019.

Mr. Shivan Dessai had also expressed an apprehension that the elections on the postponed date might be on the basis of some

2 wp165-19-06-02-19 altered voters' list. However, the learned Advocate General makes a statement that since this is a case of postponed elections, the same will be held on the basis of the same voters' list which was operational on 27 January 2019.

Mr. Shivan Dessai, on the basis of the instructions, states that with the aforesaid and with the order made in Writ Petition No. 1178/2018, most of the grievances raised in this Petition stand redressed. Therefore, again, on the basis of the instructions, he seeks leave to withdraw the present Petition.

Leave is granted. This Petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
