2. During the course of the hearing of the above Petition, Mr. J. Vaz, learned Counsel for the Respondent, upon instructions of the Head Branch of CBI, ACP Goa, has placed on record a communication inter alia disclosing that the case as far as the Petitioner is concerned, has been closed in view of the decision taken by the Respondent. The said communication is placed on record and marked 'X' for identification.

3. In view of the statement in the said communication, we find

WPCR/54/2016 that nothing survives in the above Petition which stands accordingly disposed of.
