2. This is an application for amendment of the original petition on the ground of subsequent events. The learned Advocate General points out that he has serious objection on the merits of the averments and the maintainability of the petition on the basis of proposed amendment.

3. Considering that the petition has not been admitted, the application for amendment is allowed. Needless to say that all the objections of the learned Advocate General with regard to the maintainability or otherwise are left open. Amendment to be carried out within one week. Amended copy of the petition to be served on the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. Reply, if any, to be filed within one week thereafter.
