Heard Shri S. Vales, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Shri A. N. S. Nadkarni, learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents No.1, 3, 4 and 5.

2. The above petition, inter alia, claims that a cattle pond and a community hall has been illegally constructed by the respondent No.2. However, it is pointed out by the learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents No.1,3, 4 and 5 that the cattle pond has been constructed pursuant to the directions of this Court in a Writ Petition.

3. Be that as it may, it has been pointed out by Shri Vales, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has

WP/171/2015 preferred an appeal to invoke powers under Section 66(3), (4) and (5) of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, before the Deputy Director of Panchayats, North Goa which has not yet been disposed of.

4. Considering that such an appeal claimed to have been filed by the petitioner has not yet been disposed of, we find it appropriate to direct the Deputy Director of Panchayats, North Goa, Panaji to dispose of such an appeal, if at all pending, as expeditiously as possible, within a period of three months from today, in accordance with law.
