Shri D'Costa, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, who is present before the Court, seeks leave to withdraw the petition, with a request to expedite the proceedings before the learned Magistrate. The learned Counsel for the respondents points out that there are some applications filed by the petitioner before the learned Magistrate, which are still pending. She further points out that the application for recovery of interim maintenance, as granted, is also pending before the learned Magistrate.

2. In any event, considering the statement on behalf of the petitioner, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn. The learned Magistrate shall decide the main application as expeditiously as

WPCR/20/2016 possible and preferably within a period of six months from the receipt of this order. The learned Magistrate shall also decide the application for recovery of the maintenance, if pending, as expeditiously as possible.
