Rule. Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents waives service. Heard forthwith, with the consent of the learned Counsel.

Upon hearing the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, a short point which falls for consideration is whether the respondent-the Land Acquisition Officer is justified to withhold the payments of compensation awarded to the petitioner in terms of the Award dated 11/12/2002 pursuant to the acquisition of the property of the petitioner.
4. During the course of hearing of the above petition, Mr. Dattaprasad Lawande, learned Advocate General appearing for the respondent has pointed out that the amount as referred to in the said two notices dated 10/04/2012 shall be paid to the petitioner within two months from today.

5. Accepting the said statement of the learned Advocate General, Mr. D. Pangam, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the above petition. The petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. All contentions of the parties are left open.
