2. This is an application to suspend the sentence of imprisonment awarded by the learned J.M.F.C., Ponda in Criminal Case No. 16/S/2012 dated 25.09.2013 and the learned Sessions Court, North Goa, Panaji in Criminal Appeal No. 113/2013 dated 20.02.2015.

3. In the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that the applicant was released on bail during the pendency of the trial, I find it appropriate and in the interest of justice, to pass the following :

CRMA/58/2015 O R D E R (i) The operation of the sentence imposed by the impugned judgments dated 25.09.2013 and 20.02.2015 are suspended and the applicant is directed to be released on bail subject to furnishing a personal bond with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned J.M.F.C., Ponda.

(ii) The applicant to deposit the compensation payable to the victim within a period of one week before the learned J.M.F.C., Ponda.

(iii) The applicant shall remain present in this Court at the time of the final hearing of the above petition.

(iv) The applicant shall not leave the country without seeking permission from this Court.

(v) The application stands disposed of accordingly.
