The limited prayer made in this petition is for a direction to the third respondent to decide the application dated 26/08/2019 filed by the petitioner for renewal of his aquaculture registration. 2.

We have heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Advocate General for the respondents No.2 and 3. It is pointed out that the application is first processed by the third respondent and the same is sent alongwith the recommendation to the second respondent which in turn refers it to the first respondent for final registration. Considering the fact that the application is pending since August,2019, we direct the respondents No.2 and 3 to process and decide the application within a period of eight weeks from the receipt hereof. Upon 29th April 2022

903 WP 62 of 2022.doc receipt of the proposal the respondent No.1 shall decide the same finally within eight weeks thereafter.
