Heard Mr Shetye, learned Additional Government Advocate for the applicant and Mr Pranay A. Kamat, learned counsel for the original petitioner.

2. Considering the reasons set out in the civil application, we extend the period by two months. Mr Shetye refers to the Lok Sabha elections. However, there is no much explanation as to why all this while the matter was not concluded. In any case, considering the reasons cited, we extend the period by two months. MCA 146 of 2024 must dispose of the proceedings within two months.
