After the matter was argued for some time, our attention was invited to the decision of this Court in the case of Chief Electrical Engineer, Electricity Department, Government of Goa & Others Vs. Mario Valadares, 2022 SCC OnLine Bom 808.

2. Learned Senior Advocate Mr. Pereira in all fairness and on instructions, submitted that without going into the merits of the contentions raised, this Petition could be disposed of in the same terms as in the case of Chief Electrical Engineer (supra). 4th March, 2025

3. In view of the fair stand taken by the learned Senior Advocate, the impugned order is set aside and the matter is remanded to the CGRF for fresh adjudication of the Respondent's complaint/ representation, on the basis of which, the impugned order came to be made. It is open to the Consumer/Respondent and liberty is so granted to make formal amendments or to place on record additional documents in support of the Petitioners' contentions. So also, the Petitioners are at liberty to file additional documents/compilation. All contentions of all parties are left open to be determined by the CGRF. We expect that the CGRF shall dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible and if possible within four months from the date the parties file an authenticated copy of this order.

4. Mr. Shirodkar states that he shall communicate this order to the CGRF so that the CGRF can fix a date for appearance of the parties and thereafter, proceed with the matter.
