The petitioner's counsel insists that the Inspector General of Prisons must consider the petitioner's application for furlough.

2. In response, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor informs the Court that the petitioner had his last furlough on 25.10.2019. From then onwards there should be a clear gap of six months before the petitioner could apply for another furlough. As the application is premature, he suggests that the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application.

3. Under these circumstances, the petitioner's counsel agrees to withdraw this petition with liberty to approach again, if need arises.

4. I, accordingly, close the Writ Petition as withdrawn. DAMA SESHADRI NAIDU, J.
