1. The limited relief that the Petitioner is seeking in this Petition is for a direction to the Commissioner, Corporation of City of Panaji to consider the Petitioner's applications dated 02/01/2019 and 11/05/2023 in a time bound manner. Shri Kamat, learned Counsel for Respondent No.2 submits that the petitioner's applications are now fixed for hearing on 19th September 2024.

2. In the facts of the present case and having regard to the nature of the relief sought in the present petition, since the hearing of the petitioner's application is already fixed before the Commissioner on 5th August, 2024

WP 246 of 2024 19th September 2024, we would request the Commissioner to decide the said applications dated 02/01/2019 and 11/05/2023 as expeditiously as possible and preferably by 31st October 2024. We have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter and the applications are to be decided on their own merits and in accordance with law. All contentions are kept open.
