Mr. Karpe, learned Counsel for the Respondent No. 4 i.e. The Greater Panaji Planning and Development Authority on instructions state that the Petitioner's complaint dated 05.01.2021 will be disposed off in accordance with law within eight weeks from today.

Mr. P.A. Kamat, the learned Counsel for the Village Panchayat of Taleigao on instructions states that inspection is scheduled after two days and even the Panchayat will dispose off the Petitioner's aforesaid complaint within eight weeks from today.

The two authorities state that they will, in the peculiar facts of the present case afford opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner along with the Respondent No.5. The decisions to be communicated to the Petitioner and the Respondent No.5.

Mr. Noorani agrees that before the Panchayat, the Petitioner will not insist on any personal hearing but will be content with filing written submissions. Same is the position with Respondent No.5, who will also file written submissions before Panchayat.

Learned Counsel for the parties state that they will be satisfied if opportunity of hearing is granted by the Planning authority in this matter.

By accepting the aforesaid statement and directing the concerned authorities accordingly, we dispose off this matter. 8.

We make it clear that we have not examined the merits or demerits of the matter and that will be something for the authorities to look into while disposing off the Petitioner's complaint. 9.
