In the course of the arguments it was suggested by Shri S.R. Rivankar, learned Public Prosecutor and by Shri K. Kerkar, learned Advocate for the petitioner that directions could be issued to the learned Magistrate to hear and expeditiously dispose off the proceedings.

2. In view of their fair concession, the learned J.M.F.C., D Court, Mapusa is directed to deal with the Criminal Case No.AOA/199/ITA/2014/D as expeditiously as possible and in any event within six months from today. The petitioner shall be at liberty to press for his discharge before the learned J.M.F.C.
