IN THE HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA

CONTEMPT PETITION (MAIN) NO. 7 OF 2015 MR. RYAN MANUEL BRAGANZA.

... Petitioner

Versus

SHRI KEWAL SHARMA, CHIEF SECRETARY AND 2 ORS., ... Respondents Mr. Nigel Da Costa Frias, Advocate for the Petitioner. Mr. A. N. S. Nadkarni, Advocate General, with Mr. Vivek Rodrigues, Government Advocate for the Respondents. Coram:- F. M. REIS & K. L. WADANE, JJ.

Date:- 28th July, 2015 P.C.

Heard Shri Nigel Da Costa Frias, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Shri A. N. S. Nadkarni, learned Advocate General appearing for the Respondents.

2. The above Petition for contempt has been filed on the ground that the directions by this Court in the Order dated 23.12.2013 incorporating the names suggested by the Applicant in the Committee have not been complied with.

3. It is the contention of the learned Advocate General appearing for the Respondents, that the names were not submitted by the Applicant in terms of the said Order which otherwise is not disputed by Mr. Nigel Da Costa Frias, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner.

CPM/7/2015

4. But, however, the learned Advocate General states that the State Government would include one of the names suggested by the Applicant, by letter dated 27.03.2014 to be part of the Committee constituted in terms of the said Order. In view of the said submissions of the learned Advocate General, the contempt application would not survive.

5. Subject to the above, the application stands dismissed. K. L. WADANE, J.
