Heard Mr. Nigel Da Costa Frias, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. S.R. Rivankar, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

2. Upon hearing the learned Counsel, the main grievance of the petitioner is that though an FIR has been registered by the respondent no.2, the investigations are not in progress.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor points out that the investigations are in fact in progress and such investigation will be concluded within a period of four weeks and the report would be filed accordingly.

4. Accepting the said statement of the learned Public Prosecutor, we find that the grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, stands redressed. Petition accordingly stands disposed of based on the said statement.
