There are two Petitioners. It seems that they have fallen out. Petitioner No 1 is the Village Panchayat Calangute. Petitioner No 2 was, at the relevant time, the Deputy Sarpanch of Petitioner No 1. He wishes to be represented by another Advocate and to continue the petition.

This is unacceptable. It is wholly unknown and alien to our system of litigation to have different advocates for different petitioners. We will proceed on the footing that the lead petitioner is 12th September 2017

The 2nd Petitioner may pursue his remedies, if available in law, independently.
