Heard Mr. Rohan Desai, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicant.

2. This is an application to suspend the substantial sentence of imprisonment imposed upon the Applicant for committing an offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

3. Notice has already been issued in the Revision preferred by the Applicant.

4. In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the sentence of imprisonment imposed in the Judgment dated

CRMA/79/2017 30.06.2015 stands suspended subject to the Applicant executing a personal bond of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Registrar (Judicial) and further deposit the amount of compensation of Rs.40,000/- as awarded in the impugned Judgment within two weeks from today.

5. The Applicant shall remain present on the date of hearing of the above Revision.

6. Application stands disposed of.
