On 15 June 2018, we had passed the following order : "The learned Senior Advocate for the Petitioners submitted that apart from the wider issues raised in this petition, the impugned bills are not sustainable on two counts. First, for the same pit different number have been given for different years and there is a duplication of the charge. He submitted that bills have been charged on the sanctioned quantity, which should have been on the actual usage.

2. The learned Additional Government Advocate seeks time to file a reply in respect of these two points raised by the Petitioners.

The learned Advocate General states that the arguments advanced by the Petitioner, as recorded above, are correct and the error has crept up in the bills. He states that the bills will be withdrawn and appropriate steps will be taken after issuing correct bills. In view of this statement made by the learned Advocate General, we have not gone into the merits of the matter, nor any wider issues have been raised by the Petitioner. 3.
