The challenge in this petition is to the order dated 12.5.2020 passed by the Superintendent of Police, Foreigners Regional Registration Officer.(FRRO) Panaji Goa. It transpires that the same order was challenged before the Division Bench in LD-VC-CRI7/2020 and LD-VC-CRI-8/2020 and the Division Bench by an judgment and order dated 10.7.2020 has dismissed the petitions.

904--WPCR-39-2022.DOC Incidentally, the petitioner herein was the petitioner in LD-VC-CRI8/2020. It is not shown as to how the same order came to be challenged again and that too before a Single Judge. That apart, there is statement made in the petition that no other petition on the same subject matter has been filed earlier by the petitioner before this Court or the Supreme Court. It is difficult to countenance as to how such a statement could be made.

Be that as it may, Ms. Collasso, learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. 3.
