It is the case of the Petitioner that when the Writ Petition filed by him (Writ Petition No. 840 of 2018), raising a challenge to the present orders issued in a span of one year was dismissed. Liberty was granted by the Division Bench of this Court to prefer a representation though the transfer Orders came to be upheld. Pursuant thereto, he preferred a representation to the Chief Engineer, Porvorim, Goa on 08.01.2025, praying for disbursement of his salary from 01.07.2017 along with arrears. Accompanied with the representation is a chart prepared by the

Petitioner reflecting the delay in salary (timeline).

2. Since there was no action taken on his representation, he send a reminder on 20.01.2025 to the Chief Engineer. Even thereafter, since no action was taken, ultimately on 12.02.2025, he resigned from the post of Asst. Hydrologist with immediate effect, once again praying for clearing of his dues and issuance of relieving letter.

3. The learned Additional Government Advocate Mr Priolkar representing the Respondents, admit that the representation of the Petitioner is no decided but he invited our attention to the decision of this Court in Writ Petition No. 840 of 2018 dated 13.11.2024 and, according to him, the issue of the salary is already covered by the observations of the Court while disposing off the said Writ Petition which upheld both the transfer Orders.

In any case, he has instructions to make a statement that the representation preferred by the Petitioner shall be decided within a period of six weeks from today.

4. Accepting the aforesaid statement made on record, we dispose off the Writ Petition.

5. Needless to state, upon a decision being taken on the representation, it shall be communicated to the Petitioner, as he is no

longer in service of the Government.
