This is an application for suspension of sentence. The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 420 read with Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer imprisonment for a period of two years and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/- and in default to suffer simple imprisonment for a period of one month. The applicant was all along on bail during the course of the trial.

2. Having heard the learned Counsel for the parties, the following order is passed:

O R D E R

(i) The substantive sentence of imprisonment is hereby

CRMA/90/2017 suspended pending disposal of the appeal on condition of the applicant furnishing a PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall deposit the amount of fine before the learned Special Judge.

(iii) The bail bonds to be furnished before the learned Special Judge.

(iv) Parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
