The Petitioners have raised several questions in this Writ Petition and sought direction that Respondent Nos.4 to 6-Police Officers from the State of Madhya Pradesh, be restrained from taking any action against the Petitioners.

At this stage, we are not inclined to enter into the controversy. The main apprehension of the Petitioners is that the Petitioners are likely to be subjected to an unauthorised action of

Amrut 2 WP348-18dt 15-03-2018 Respondent Nos.4 to 6. The Petitioners have already made an application to Respondent Nos.7 and 8-the Officers of the local police force and for police protection against the unauthorised action. 3.

The learned Public Prosecutor states that Respondent Nos.7 and 8 will look into the grievance made by the Petitioners and the application made by the Petitioners for police protection will be decided. The learned Public Prosecutor assures that the local police will ensure that the Petitioners will not be subjected to any unauthorised action and will render assistance as and when possible, as permissible in law. In view of this assurance, which is accepted. No further order is necessary. The Writ Petition is disposed of. Prithviraj K. Chavan , J. N.M. Jamdar, J.
