Heard Mr. R. Gawas, learned Advocate for the petitioners.

2. After petition was argued for sometime and upon this Court pointing out that though Writ of mandamus is applied for, same, has been not preceded by any demand for justice. The learned Counsel for the petitioner, on the basis of instructions from the petitioners states that petitioners will make a representation to the respondent no.2, latest by 7.3.2019.

3. The learned Advocate General who appears in the matter alongwith Mr. V. Sardessai, learned Additional Government Advocate states that such representation, if made, will be disposed of by the respondent no.2 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date

WP/267/2019 of receipt of such representation. He say that decision on the representation will be duly communicated to the petitioners, no sooner the same is made.

4. This petition is accordingly, disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

5. We make it clear that we have not examined the merits of the matter, including the issue as to avail of alternate remedy. PRITHVIRAJ K. CHAVAN, J.
