Heard Mr. S.D. Lotlikar, learned Senior Advocate who appears along with Mr. Terence Sequeira, for the Petitioner and Ms. Ankita Kamat, learned Additional Government Advocate for the Respondents. 2.

According to us, for the present, this petition can be disposed of by directing the Special Secretary (Home), Government of Goa to dispose of Petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2020 (Annexure D Page 87 onwards) as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within six weeks from today.

The decision to be communicated to the Petitioner within this period of six weeks, in the latest.

If the Petitioner is not satisfied with the decision, then, the Petitioner will have the liberty to challenge such decision by taking out appropriate proceedings.

All contentions of all parties are expressly left open, since, we have not examined the merits of the matter.

The petition is disposed off in the aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.

Ms. Kamat states that the authenticated copy of this order along with the petition, which includes the representation dated 07.05.2020 will be handed over to the Special Secretary (Home), so that he can dispose of the representation at the earliest. 8.
