This petition challenges an alleged illegal deviation from the proposed widening/four-lanes of National Highway No.17 ( new NH 66). The grievance of the Petitioners is that their property is being usurped for road widening/four lanes. Learned Advocate General on behalf of the State makes a statement that the Respondent State shall not touch the Petitioners' property without acquiring the same in accordance with law.
