1. This impugned order, which is an order of 08.01.2024 passed by the Superintendent of Survey and Land Records, Margao does not call for any interference in the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court. The order is well reasoned and allows an application to take on record two public documents i.e. inscription and description of the property claimed by the Respondents, which are both derived from public records maintained in the Archives of the Government of Goa.

2. The impugned order was passed on 08.01.2024, and it appears, as stated by the learned Advocate for the Petitioner, that the matter before the ISLR (Inspector of Survey and Land Records) has not progressed for the past 1 1/2 years.

3. The Superintendent of the Survey and Land Records, Margao has now allowed the Appeal and remitted the matter back to the ISLR for reconsideration of the original application filed by the Respondents. Consequently, the ISLR, Margao is now supposed to consider two documents produced by the Respondents i.e. inscription and description, and dispose of Survey Proceedings bearing case No: D.C. 79/Chinchinim.

4. Consequently, the ISLR is requested to dispose of the application bearing No: D.C. 79/Chinchinim filed by the Respondents herein preferably within a period of six months from today.

5. The petition is dismissed with the above observations. VALMIKI MENEZES, J.
