Writ Petition No.605 of 2022 (F) was disposed of by a coordinate bench of this Court on 21.03.2022 with a direction upon the Panchayat to dispose of the petitioner's complaint dated 04.03.2022 within a week from that date. It was also directed that the concerned official of the Panchayat should visit the site and if any illegal or unauthorised construction is detected, appropriate orders ought to be issued including stopping of such construction. The complaint was also directed to be disposed of st March 2022

This is an application by the Panchayat seeking extension of time by two weeks to comply with the order dated 21.03.2022. Mr. Menezes, learned advocate for the applicant contends that stop work order has already been issued and a final order in the proceedings shall be passed in the manner as directed in the order dated 21.03.2022 by 11.04.2022.

Mr. Lotlikar, learned advocate appearing for the respondent/writ petitioner has no objection.

In such view of the matter, this application stands disposed of by extending the time to comply with the order dated 21.03.2022 till 11.04.2022. However, other directions contained in the order dated 21.03.2022 shall remain untouched. 5.

No costs.
