2. On considering the impugned order and the manner in which the learned Trial Judge has disallowed the questions which are relevant for the defence of the petitioner, the impugned order cannot be sustained and is therefore quashed and set aside.

3. The parties are directed to appear before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Panaji on 09/04/2018 at 10.00 hours.

4. The learned Additional Sessions Judge shall afford adequate opportunity to the petitioner to cross-examine the Investigating

WPCR/72/2018 Officer on the questions disallowed by her.
