This is an application for extension of parole by 8 days, on the ground that the application for extension of parole by 90 days is pending before the Competent Authority.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor points out that the application for extension has already been rejected by an order dated 13 March 2018, which has been communicated to the Jail Authorities. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has furnished a copy of the said order to the learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

3. In such circumstances, the prayer for extension of period by 8 days would not survive. The Petitioner will have to take appropriate remedy, if so advised, against the order dated 13 March 2018.
