2. This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail. The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with the investigation of Crime No.43/2014, registered with P.S. Porvorim under Sections 201, 403, 409, 468, 471, 477, 477-A, 420 read with Section 34 of I.P.C. and Section 7 read with Section 13(1)(a) and (b) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1985.
3. It is submitted on behalf of the applicant that the present applicant, who is the original accused n.9, had already furnished his specimen signature for comparison. It is submitted that other co-accused are already released on bail.
4. Shri Rivankar, the learned Public Prosecutor fairly submits that in view of the fact that the petitioner has furnished his specimen
CRMAB/99/2015 signature, the Investigating Agency does not require his presence/ custody at this stage. It is submitted that appropriate orders be passed.
5. On hearing the learned Counsel for the parties and on perusal of the record and having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already furnished his specimen signature for comparison and concession recorded on behalf of the State, the following order is passed :
ORDER
(i) Criminal Application (Bail) is allowed.
(ii) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with the investigation of Crime No.43/2014 of P.S. Porvorim, the applicant shall be released on bail on furnishing a P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or more solvent sureties in the like amount.
(iii)The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence or witnesses and shall co-operate with the Investigating Agency as and when required.
(iv) The Criminal Application (Bail) is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
