Shri. Damodar Babaji Ghode. v. State Of Goa, Thr. Chief Secretary And 2 ORS.,
IN THE HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA
WRIT PETITION NO. 322 OF 2016 SHRI. DAMODAR BABAJI GHODE.
... Petitioner
Versus
STATE OF GOA, THR. CHIEF SECRETARY AND 2 ORS., ... Respondents Mr. Sahish Mahambrey, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. P. Dangui, Addl. Government Advocate for the respondent nos. 1 and 2.
Coram:- F. M. REIS & K. L. WADANE, JJ.
Date:- 16th March, 2016 P.C.
Heard Mr. S. Mahambrey, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. P. Dangui, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2.
2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that though a complaint has been lodged being a Mahajan of the Devasthan in respect of the affairs of the concerned Devasthan, the inquiry has not yet been completed.
3. Mr. P. Dangui, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 submits that the inquiry is being adjourned at the request of the respective parties and as such no fault can be attributed to the respondent no.2. But however, the
WP/322/2016 learned Addl. Government Advocate upon instructions states that the inquiry shall be concluded within eight weeks from today.
4. Accepting the said statement of the learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 upon instructions we find that nothing more survives in the above petition at this stage. Hence, the petition stands disposed of accordingly. All contentions of both the parties are left open. K. L. WADANE, J.
