The challenge in this petition is to the Notification dated 06.02.2020 to the extent, it increases the rates for engaging a special

ferry on the Ribandar-Chorao route from 55/- to 250/- per trip. ₹ ₹ 3.

The learned Advocate General, now makes a statement that this increase in the rates has been rolled down from 250/- to ₹ 100/- per trip.

Mr. Rao, the learned Counsel for the petitioners, on the basis of instructions, states that if there is such a roll down, then, the petitioners would not like to press this petition any further. He pointed out that even in the representation made by the petitioners, the petitioners had suggested that at the highest, the increase could be to the extent of 100/- or 110/- or thereabout but not a five fold ₹ ₹ increase as was sought to be made by the impugned Notification. 5.

Accepting the statement made by the learned Advocate General, we dispose of this petition.
