This petition can be disposed off on a short count.
2. The learned Additional Government Advocate makes a statement that the respondent no.3 shall carry out inspection of the subject land belonging to the petitioner in order to ascertain whether the land can be classified as a private forest, and thereafter shall decide whether the NOC can be granted for development of the said land within one month. The statement so made is accepted.
3. The petition is accordingly disposed off with a direction to
WP/330/2019 the third respondent to carry out the inspection of the subject land and then to decide whether any NOC can be granted for development of the said land.
4. In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs. The rival contentions of the parties are left open. NUTAN D. SARDESSAI, J.
