Heard Ms Barbara Andrade for the petitioners and Mr A.D. Bhobe for the respondent.

2. Mr Bhobe hands in an affidavit of the respondent wherein the respondent has apologized for not complying with the directions of this Court within the time prescribed. This affidavit is taken on record.

3. In this case, neither were the directions complied with nor was any extension applied for.

4. However, Mr Bhobe pointed out that now, the directions have been complied with and an order has been made on 08.04.2024, a copy of which is already furnished to Ms Andrade, learned Counsel for the petitioners.

5. Considering the fact that our directions have now been complied with and the respondent has tendered an unconditional apology, we propose to close this contempt proceedings. An additional reason which persuades us to discharge the contempt notice is the respondent's assurance that hereafter the Court orders would be complied with and in case there are serious difficulties, suitable application would be filed seeking extension.

6. The respondent is present in the Court and tenders this apology.

7. Accordingly, by accepting the apology, we discharge the contempt notice and close this contempt proceedings.

8. The petitioner, if aggrieved by the order which is now communicated to her Counsel, is obviously at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law.
