2. The Contempt Petition alleges non-compliance with the directions contained in our order dated 26.09.2023 for disposal of show cause notice dated 07.09.2023 issued to respondent no.4 in the civil application.

3. The learned Advocate General submits that for the reasons which are set out in the civil application, show cause notice could not be disposed of within the time limit set out in our order dated 26.09.2023. The learned Advocate General, however, states that hearings are complete and the show cause notice will now positively be disposed of by 26.04.2024. He, accordingly, submits that extension may be granted up to 30.04.2024.

4. Considering the averments in the civil application and the assurances that the show cause notice will be positively disposed of by 26.04.2024, the time for compliance is extended up to 30.04.2024.

5. Now that the time for compliance is extended up to 30.04.2024, we dispose of the Contempt Petition by expressing the fond hope that the petitioner is now once again not required to approach this Court by alleging non-compliance.

6. Misc. Civil Application No.198 of 2024 and Contempt Petition No.7 of 2024 are disposed of.
