The Petition seek the following relief in terms of prayer clause (a):

"a. That by a Writ of Mandamus or a Writ, Order and/or direction in the nature of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction, under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, this Hon'ble Court may be 30th June, 2025

12-WP-184-2025 pleased to command and direct the Respondent No.2 to decide and adjudicate the representation dated 30/12/2024 filed by the Petitioner expeditiously and in any event within a period of one month or such other period as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to direct."

The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner express her satisfaction in case if the Respondent No.2, Director of Education, is directed to decide the application in a time-bound manner.

Ms Sapna Mordekar, the learned Counsel representing State Authorities, including Respondent No.2, expresses no hesitancy in deciding the application preferred by the Petitioner if not already decided.

2. The Petition therefore stands disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No.2 to decide upon the representation dated 30.12.2024 preferred by the Petitioner within a period of 6 weeks from today. Needless to state that dependent upon the response to the decision taken on the representation, the Petitioner shall be at liberty to take appropriate steps as available in law.
