Heard the learned counsel for the applicant. The respondent no.2, who is the contesting respondent was represented by Addl. Government Advocate V. Rodrigues, as recorded in the order dated 20/6/2016. Today none appears for the said respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the applicant states that the marriage of the parties has been dissolved on the ground of cruelty and irretrievable break down of marriage. She states that the ground of cruelty is available under the local law for seeking a decree of dissolution of marriage and the said decree is passed by the Family Court at Reading on 4/2/2016. In such circumstances, the application

MCAM/361/2016 is allowed in terms of prayer clause 16 "a" and "b", with no order as to costs.
