Ms. G. Kamat, learned Counsel for the petitioner on instructions state that the challenge in this petition was to the order

granting anticipatory bail. It is pointed out that subsequently, the respondent No.3 has been granted regular bail and therefore, nothing survives in the petition.

The only request is for expediting the trial.

2. In such circumstances, the Criminal Writ Petition No. 55/2016 is disposed of as infructuous. The Trial Court shall proceed with the trial as expeditiously as possible.
