This is an application seeking condonation of delay of 275 days filed on behalf of the State, in filing the accompanying appeal to challenge an order of acquittal passed in favour of the respondent/accused.

It is stated in the application that time was consumed in filing the appeal as proposal was sent for approval and finally approval was granted by the State Government on 3.10.2019. 3.

Although the learned Counsel appearing for the accused had opposed the present application, stating that reasons cannot be accepted for condonation of delay, this

Hence, application is allowed. Delay in filing appeal is condoned.
