IN THE HIGH COURT OF BOMBAY AT GOA

WRIT PETITION NO. 381 OF 2016 RYAN DA PIEDADE MENEZES.

... Petitioner

Versus

VILLAGE PANCHAYAT OF CHODAN MADEL, THR. ITS SECRETARY AND 5 ORS., ... Respondents Mr. Nigel Da Costa Frias, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr.P. Dangui, AGA for the respondent nos. 2, 3, 4 and 6. Coram:- F. M. REIS & NUTAN D. SARDESSAI, JJ.

Date:- 31st March, 2016 P.C.

Heard Mr. Nigel Da Costa Frias, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Dangui learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 2, 3, 4 and 6.

2. Upon hearing the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 2,3,4 and 6, it appears that the main grievance of the petitioner is that though complaints were lodged before the statutory authorities about the violation allegedly carried on by the respondent no.5 in the subject property belonging to the parents of the petitioner, no action was forth-coming by the concerned authorities.

3. The learned Additional Government Advocate, upon instructions of the Deputy Director, who is present in the Court, has

WP/381/2016 pointed out that site inspection of the subject property is fixed on 7th April, 2016 at 3.00 p.m. The learned Additional Government Advocate has also placed on record a copy of the notice of site inspection, which is marked as "X" for identification.

4. Considering that the authorities have already initiated action in accordance with law, we find that nothing else survives in the petition at this stage. The petitioner, if so advised, may remain present for the said inspection by taking notice of the said inspection.

5. With the above observations, the petition is disposed of accordingly.
