After hearing the matter for some time, Mr. D. Shirodkar, the learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, upon instructions of Ms. Sapna Bandodkar, Mamlatdar, states that the elections which are scheduled to be conducted in terms of the directions issued by this Court vide order dated 12/1/2017 shall be conducted as per the voters list which was finalized on 18/7/2016. In view of said statement of the learned Additional Government Advocate, on instructions, nothing survives in the above petition which is accordingly disposed off.
