1. A compliance report dated 21/06/2024 on behalf of the Director General of Police has been filed by Smt. Sunita Sawant, Superintendent of Police, Legal and Vigilance. An affidavit-in-reply is filed on behalf of Respondents No.1 and 6. The learned Counsel for Respondents No.2 to 4 submits that an affidavit-in-reply similar in lines with that is filed by Respondents No.1 and 6 will be filed in the Course of this week. Office to accept the same.

2. We have perused the compliance report filed on behalf of the Director General of Police, especially paragraphs 6, 7 and 10 thereof, 24th June, 2024

SMCP 1 of 2024 carefully. The compliance reports speaks about a preliminary inquiry being conducted against Respondents No.1 to 4 and 6.

3. In view of the compliance report filed, we are satisfied that adequate steps have been taken. The unconditional apologies tendered by the Respondents are accepted as they are bonafide. The Respondents are discharged of the notices issued.
