It was not in dispute that during the pendency of the above Writ Petition, the petitioner has already retired. The learned Counsel for the petitioner, upon instructions from the petitioner, who is present in Court, seeks leave to withdraw the petition as it has become infructuous. But however, the petitioner points out that he will make a representation to the Directorate of Accounts to avail of any pensionary benefits in accordance with law.

2. In case any such representation is filed, learned Additional Government Advocate points out that such representation shall be examined on its own merits in accordance with law.
