There is sufficient cause shown for the delay and therefore, the delay of 135 days in seeking restoration of STM No.1489 of 2015 is condoned.

Based on the same cause and further explanation given as to why the matter could not been attended to, the order dismissing the application for condonation of delay for filing appeal is also set aside. 4.

In the result, the application for condonation of delay in filing the appeal is hereby restored.

5.

Misc. Civil Application No.302 of 2018 and STA No.1227 of 2018 are disposed of.
