Complaint against illegal construction has been filed before the Village Panchayat.

2. Learned counsel for the Village Panchayat/respondent no. 3 states that show cause notice has already been issued on the basis of the complaint dated 11.1.2024 and the same will be taken to its logical conclusion within a period of six weeks from today. Statement accepted.

3. Furthermore against the order of demolition, a Panchayat Appeal is filed. Details of which are mentioned in the prayer clause (b) of the 4th December, 2024

WP 375 of 2024 petition.

4. In the facts and circumstances of the present case, we request the Director of Panchayat to decide the appeal expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date this order is placed before it.

5. Learned Addl. Govt. Advocate further pointed out that the appeal is pending before the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority(GCZMA) for hearing. We request GCZMA to decide the appeal expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from today.
